Brendan Babb is the first Chief Innovation Officer for the muni of Anchorage. He studied mathematics and has been a software developer for over 30 year. He holds 3 patents and recently did research on Mars Rover image compression leveraging machine learning and evolutionary computation. He is also the Co-Captain of Code for Anchorage and is indebted to Code for Anchorage and the CfA Health Team. He enjoys DJing, volunteering, and music.
